I sistemi Agroalimentari alla sfida della Sostenibilità nell’ottica della Circolarità e del One Health

L'ENEA organizza il prossimo 10 giugno il webinar “I sistemi Agroalimentari alla sfida della Sostenibilità nell’ottica della Circolarità e del One Health” quale momento di approfondimento e condivisione sulla sostenibilità dei sistemi agroalimentari, per valorizzarne le eccellenze, superare le criticità e rafforzarne la qualità e la competitività.

FAO signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in July 2018 with the Italian Research Institutions: the National Research Council (CNR); the Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA); the National Agency for New Technologies, Renewable Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA); and the Italian Institute for Environmental Research and Protection (ISPRA). The overarching objective of the cooperation between FAO and CNR, CREA, ENEA and ISPRA is the promotion of sustainability at large in the context of joint efforts for achieving the Agenda 2030.

May 26th 2020 - Meet platform On May 26 from three p.m. to six p.m. METROFOOD-RI will participate in the thematic seminar cycle on "Communication in the time of the pandemic ", organized by the Department of Communication and Social Research" of the Sapienza University of Rome.

The METROFOOD-PP 1st Project Progress Meeting took place on line, via Adobe Connect.  The METROFOOD-PP Management Committee members, with their deputies and other colleagues, were due to gather in Freising, Germany, for the 1st Project Progress meeting to be organised by TUM. But, as with many meetings and events, the plans were changed due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Therefore, once it became clear that it was neither possible, nor safe, to travel and meet in person, the meeting was moved on-line.

Un micro-orto a 6mila km dalla Terra per coltivare verdure fresche destinate alle future esplorazioni spaziali. Si chiama GREENCUBE, è progettato da un team scientifico tutto italiano e sarà contenuto per la prima volta a bordo di un mini satellite che verrà lanciato in occasione del volo inaugurale del vettore ufficiale VEGA-C dell’Agenzia Spaziale Europea (ESA).

ENEA nel consorzio internazionale di 4 centri di ricerca finanziato dalla Ue e coordinato dalla Queensland University australiana.

This week (30th March  – 1st April 2020), the SIMBA Consortium were due to gather in Reykjavík, Iceland for our 3rd partner meeting. Our partners at Matis organised a jam-packed agenda that included project updates from WP leaders, Early Career Researcher scientific presentations, meeting of the Scientific Advisory Board. As well as these meetings and more, there was time for dinner, coffee breaks and lunches where all partners could catch up.
