Save the date! SIMBA Project - Consortium Meeting

18 October 2021 to 19 October 2021

The 5th consortium meeting, organized by ENEA, will be held on 18th and 19th October in hybrid form: in person in Rome at Villa Lubin, under the patronage of CNEL, and online. The meeting represents a great opportunity for partners to provide updates on work carried out to date, and also to plan next steps, to make SIMBA ambition fully successful.

Black sea and Balkans Security Forum 2021

The fifth edition of the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum will take place on 3-4 September, in Bucharest. Organized by New Strategy Center, with the institutional support of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defence, the Forum benefits from the co-sponsorship of the Public Diplomacy Division of NATO, as it did for all its previous editions.

PEFMED PLUS “Sharing and transferring Product Environmental Footprint experiences and methods to neighboring countries of the Adriatic agri-food sector” will improve the expertise already gained by the previous PEFMED Project, which focused on agri-food Mediterranean countries, by replicating its culture and methodology and transferring a set of ready-to-use outputs (National Roadmaps, PEF Wiki Platform info, Socio-Economic KPIs tools for olive oil, bottled water, wine and cheese) to companies in selected Adriatic countries (Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro).

Existing food nutrition security data, knowledge, and tools for agri-food sciences are fragmented, lack critical mass, and access is unevenly distributed. This means FNS data are not readily found, accessible, interoperable, or reusable (FAIR), and existing services focus on clinical, molecular, and biological sciences.
