Rendere disponibile agli agricoltori un sistema di previsione per conoscere in anticipo l’entità del raccolto delle olive, che consenta di riprogettare le pratiche agronomiche da adottare. È questo l’obiettivo della ricerca realizzata da ENEA con CNR e Università della California di Berkeley (Stati Uniti),che ha identificato i principali fattori di stress climatico stagionale responsabili dei cattivi raccolti.

È stato pubblicato sull’autorevole rivista “Nature Plants” il genoma del tabacco australiano (Nicotiana benthamiana). Lo studio, iniziato nel 2018, è stato condotto da un consorzio internazionale coordinato dalla Queensland University of Technology e comprendente l’ENEA, sostenuto da un finanziamento europeo nell’ambito del programma Horizon 2020.
La doppia edizione, 2021-2022, di BIOREPORT affronta una serie di tematiche nel tentativo di dare conto della complessità del settore e delle sue relazioni con il sistema agroalimentare, la società e l'ambiente.
